Claude helps you write. SolicitFit checks it.
The SolicitFit connector brings the compliance gate into Claude: ask about an agency's rules, find open topics, and run a full administrative-compliance scan of your draft PDF — with measured page counts, fonts and margins that a chat can't check on its own.
Add it to Claude
In Claude, open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, name it SolicitFit and use this URL, then sign in with your SolicitFit account (or create one):
https://solicitfit.com/api/mcp
The connector uses your SolicitFit plan: the free plan includes one full scan a month, a Final check is $79 one-time, and Pro is $59/month for 20 scans.
Tools
sbir_agency_rules— SolicitFit's cited administrative rules for DoD, NIH, NSF, DOE, NASA, DHS and NOAA — page limits, fonts, margins, required sections, eligibility, registrations, cost ceilings, AI-use disclosure — each with its source and the cycle it was verified against.search_open_solicitations— Open SBIR/STTR opportunities in our catalog (from SBIR.gov and Grants.gov), soonest deadline first. Most DoD topics aren't included.upload_proposal— A private, one-time upload link for a PDF on your device. Files attached to a Claude chat don't reach connectors, so the draft (or the solicitation PDF) is uploaded there.check_proposal— The full compliance scan: a deterministic parse that measures page count, font sizes, margins and spacing, plus a cited cross-check against the solicitation. Uses one scan from your plan.get_report— The findings of a scan that took longer than the chat waits.my_usage— Your account, plan, scans left this month and Final check credits.
Try asking
- “What are NIH's SBIR formatting rules for the Research Strategy?”
- “Which SBIR/STTR solicitations close in the next 30 days?”
- “Check my NSF SBIR Phase I draft against the solicitation before I submit.”
Your draft stays private
Uploaded PDFs go to a private store, are deleted as soon as the scan finishes (or after 24 hours if never scanned), and are never used to train models. The connector receives only what you ask it to check. Don't upload classified, ITAR-controlled or CUI material. Details: Privacy · Security & data.
Limits
Drafts must be text-based PDFs up to 200 pages and 25 MB. SolicitFit checks administrative compliance — it doesn't write or grade your science, and it isn't legal advice. The current solicitation always wins.
